Hailing from Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, Katelynn has lived in Flagstaff, Arizona, Santa Cruz, California, and most recently Boise, Idaho. After graduating from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Special Education and a minor in History, Katelynn came to Boise to attend law school at Concordia University School of Law.
While in law school, she served as the Student Bar Association delegate, President of the American Constitution Society, and had an Externship with the State of Hawaii Office of the Public Defender and served as a legal assistant for a local Boise medical malpractice and personal injury firm. After graduation, Katelynn formed her own practice, K. Mitchell Law, and focuses mostly on Family Law and Criminal Law. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Idaho, the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts, and is currently awaiting licensure in the State of Hawaii. In her free time, Katelynn enjoys art and the outdoors.
